The drive ended Tuesday, and the total exceeded the $100 million goal by 15.3 percent. UNCG received giftsw and pledges fromabout 22,000 donors. The campaign’s two key initiativess — undergraduate and graduate scholarships and facultudevelopment — drew the bulk of the giftas with more than $75 million. “Reaching our goal is an extraordinaryy achievement, and a tremendous statement to the generosity of our supporterz and their belief inthis university,” said Chancelloe Linda P. Brady. “Thousands of loyal supportera have brought us to a successful conclusion, and we are deeplg grateful to them.
” The campaign has created 14 new 203 new undergraduate scholarships, 42 new graduate scholarships and 144 program fundsd and student awards programs. UNCG said planning for the next fundraisinfg drive hasalready begun.
